they wanted Weddle for coverage--they just didn't trust Burgess in passing game
but when they had a lead they must have wanted to give him some experience
Thanks for posting that.
And it is as expected. That he was brought in to ensure they had someone handling the secondary on key/passing downs.
I still think our back end is reliant on the rush being good. But it's a really nice start to see the secondary play well with Fuller out.
