Players play, but how often have we seen players excel in a system or are motivated under a certain coach and not another?
Why do some teams tend miss tackles and drop passes no matter who the players are?
How can a player perform a certain way on one team and much better or worse on another team?
A good tackler should tackle period, you are right, but coaches are part of evaluation, motivation, scheme, and positioning, as well as focus
Well said. Some coaches teach better than others and emphasize different things.
Some stress fundamentals...some don't.
Some coaches emphasize knocking the ball out...Some don't.
Some coaches stress physicality...some don't.
If your team isn't performing well at something like catching the ball, tackling or take aways it is practiced and "worked on" at every level from Pop Warner to the Pros whether it's by full practices or drills to help improve those areas.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
