to being offended by jokes about this disease. Without personal anecdotal information-there's enough in this post already- I see this as I see cancer. I don't think cancer jokes are funny and I don't think making fun of this horrific disease is funny either. To be fair maybe some just don't think of it as a "horrific disease". That's OK -To me that just means a lack of real understanding. While cancer destroys individuals this disease destroys families. Call me "PC". Yeah-I'm guilty.
It's ok waterfield. Everyone deals with things in their own way. Yours is not right or wrong.
Sorry if that came across the wrong way. I can honestly see both sides and understand both points of view. Neither being "right" or "wrong". It's what "works" for them.
We all get offended via different degrees of sensitivity. I think the "PC" part applies to the people who feel the need to express how they are "more" upset than the "offender" and feel the need to let the "offender" know how "wrong" they are for not feeling the same as them. (I am saying this in a "general" sense and not meaning to say this applies to you waterfield.)
All of this is JMHO. No disrespect meant to you OR Ramgator!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
