Morris is running Staley's defense---it is a match zone. They match the patterns and when the routes show they THEN
aggressively play the coverage and attack the ball.

They do not cover green grass, they push to the next zone if there is no one in their zone, they don't cover a guy
if the route has not shown. That is Staley's thing--that is the innovation. Like it or not. And much of the NFL is using
it. The Rams show a cover-2/4 shell and rotate a lot into cover 3 or cover 6 or play quarters. Not a lot of cover-1

In the red zone they like to play Tampa-2

The front is a 5-1 one with sunk DEs...they play gap-and-a-half inside but it is a six-man box not a 7.

Against the 49ers they used 7 and 8 man boxes as an adjustment, but the players didn't play it well because
they missed tackles.

The game was called fine, but the players have to execute.

Now, look, you can think what you like ut the bottom line is I know about the subject matter. Expert? No.
Informed? yes. Experienced? yes.

Does that tick some off? I guess. Because people like oldnotdead what to lie and whine and cry and say
what they want without challenge. Nothing that guy has ever said is right. But hey, that's his problem,

But if people here want to just repeat the same thing about "Fire Morris" that's their right. It's clownish
and silly but okay.

But I am not going to just roll over and just say, "okay, let's agree to disagree". Not when I have done the
extra work to try and understand things and other have not, they just want to talk LIKE they know
things when in reality, they have not ever looked at a playbook and when you show them stats they
want to discount them because it does not fir whatever it is they are whining about Morris that day.

And imagine that guy who said he'd call Morris "a coward to his face".

Think about that. And really, people here are doing it in a much more subtle way.

It is too bad that the Fire Morris crowd is so full of hate for the guy. But some people won't listen and
nothing will open their minds.
