So, no, 49ers drive to tie was bad, but #1 DL, even Aaron Donald exhausted. #2 Ramsey played hero ball and gave up a 43-yard pass---that got then inside the 20. that was it----once there--they had time to get a TD.
So, his question was if the defense can get people off the field and confidence? Yes
In the context of getting to the Super Bowl? yes
It is as good or better than 2018 Pats, 2019 cheifs, in some areas the 2020 Bucs---some areas not
It is as good as MOST of the teams in the 2021 playoffs... except the Bills
All the 2021 playoff defenses are flawed in some way, including ours

Did they play well vs 49ers? No. 49ers match well vs Rams. And, we had Ramsey blow
2 plays biting on stuff that left his man wide open one for a TD another for 43 yards that
led to a TD.
