The Rams have had their best games statistically against the also rans of the league. In pressure games and moments like what we saw on Sunday, they have mostly failed big.
In fact, the only time I remember them coming through was in the game against Baltimore two weeks ago, and I'm thinking about the last three years beginning with the epic fail of Greg Zuerlein's missed FG against the Seahawks three years ago, the blown 3rd and 20 coverage against the 49ers that same year, and then the blown coverages on 3rd and 40 and 4th and 25 plays against the Bills last season. And didn't the Jets convert a 4th and long to beat the Rams after the Rams (I believe it was Cam Akers) had scored?
I'm sure there are more that I've forgotten.
