I think McVay can do it, but I agree with those who think he needs to step away from play calling and become a true head coach.
Roster wise were stuck with the dilemna of Donald and Ramsey's salaries. They are some of the best (if not the best) at their positions. But is one of them worth 2 above average players? Would we have been better off, say, not signing one of them and keeping Johnson and Hill.
I'm not making this suggestion by any means, but in today's salary cap you really have to weigh the worth of paying one guy 20-25 million at the expense of better depth or starters. This is why GM's get either the big salary or the axe.
