You likely don't buy the melting pot theory because you live on the other side of the country. I have live here (So Cal) my entire 83 years and can assure you I have seen increases every year in fans from other NFL cities moving here. it truly is an eclectic area-more so that any other NFL venue. Ticket agencies are not stupid and buy up huge blocks of good seats so they can sell them to fans of other teams they know live here. I personally know of Saints' fans who will wait until the schedule comes out and if their team is playing in Inglewood will rush to purchase expensive tickets so they can personally see their team at least once in the year. Same with N.Y people that live here as well as SF people now living here, after the dot.com gentrification price increased them out of the market, and so on.
I get tired of hearing this is all the fault of Ram fans who sell their tickets to fans of other teams. We have a loyal and sturdy fan base here. It just so happens so do fans from other teams. Come one come all-enjoy the sun, beaches, bikinis, Hollywood, great restaurants, USC, UCLA, Dodgers, Angels, Lakers, Clippers. We have it all !
