You have 3 HOF players on your defense. Makes perfect sense to me to put the game in their hands under these conditions:
1. Opposing QB is not Brady or Rodgers and has a broken hand to boot.
2. He starts at his 12 yard line.
3. He has no time outs.
4. He has 87 seconds left and must score a TD.
There were many chances to put this game away before that 3rd and 7 play, but the fact remains the defense screwed the pooch.
