I agree that O'Connell isn't ready. He just doesn't seem like the kind of guy who can stand in front of a roster and inspire them. But then again I put more value on leadership than many others do, as it pertains to HC. The gem on this roster for an HC gig is actually Morris, who has the presence you need to install culture.
So that means O'Connell will probably get a job this year. Which I'm fine with btw. I don't feel like O'Connell has added all that much, though we will never know what his workload is under McVay with it being his offense.
