This 49er game is gonna tell us a lot about Rams players and coaches…

Like it or not but this is one of those moments of truth, I think.

Players

Are Rams gonna be out physicalled? Again?
Can Stafford avoid the turnovers?
Can Rams stop the run?
Will Rams tackle well or will they get sloppy?
Can Rams D get off the damned field?
Will Rams players allow another 20 minute TOP deficit?
Will Stafford take what 49ers are giving him rather than forcing passes into triple coverage?

Coaches

Can McVay remember to call enough running plays to make 49ers play honest?
This might be a good game for short Stafford drops and lots of play action.
Has Morris got a plan for handling Kittle and Samuel?
How will Morris deploy Ramsey? Hopefully put him on Samuel?
How will Morris scheme around our weakest link inside, namely Reeder?
How will Morris counter the expected numerous 49er runs inside? Or are we gonna see more of those 9 minute 49er keep-away drives?

Both players and coaches have had 2 months to strategize about all of the above. Will the 49ers get their 6th straight win or will Rams splatter them like a bug on a windshield? Sure hope to see the latter.

Like I said, it’s gonna be a moment-of-truth game…
