You win by passing in the NFL. If the run is working, that is great, run until it stops working, but if it goes 1-10, 2-9, 3-8, sack the first 2 possessions start passing on the early downs.
but if the run is working that is fine to run and keep the team off balance. Don't feel forced to run though and not move the ball and be ok with punting.
I will never understand the idea of don't give up on the run when you are losing by multiple scores and getting stuffed at the line of scrimmage. Never will understand how getting down by more points serves your purpose of trying to win.
I think the keys to the game are simple:
1) Offensive line (yes both run and pass blocking, but have to be able to get large chunks of yardage early)
2) Beckham making the big play (I don't know how good the guy is still as he has aged but he is going to have to make some plays as the focus will be on Kupp. Designing a few plays that are key for Beckham but appear to be Kupp plays may make the difference. Last week he delivered big.)
