in games against the Niners McVay tends to call his absolute worst games and just seems flat all game long and loses his mind. here is a list of things He absolutely cannot afford to do this Sunday.
1.. Can't lose focus of using the Run. We need more than 10 carries in the First Quarter, Let alone in the entire game. week 10 the Niners ran the ball 44 times to the Rams 10. that can't happen again.
2... No 7 step drops, one thing McVay tends to do when he senses a team has secondary issues is he likes to call long developing patterns. Can't do it, The Niners have a really good pash rush, get the ball out quick and get the receivers in space. let OBJ, Kupp and Jefferson use their run after the catch abilities.
3... Can't allow Stafford to get into a funk, get him dialed in fast, change tempo, move him around, use quick hitting plays, and again, RUN THE DAMN BALL.
4... He can't lose his patience, understand the flow of the game, there will be times we can take a shot, do not do it too often. make them defend every inch of that turf and use better clock management.
5... Do not take unnecessary risks with Stafford and the Oline. Keep that ball coming out quick.
6... Do not allow Morris to get complacent and play his soft coverage and putting Ramsey on their 3rd or 4th option.
7... finally, do not think of the Niners as your grandfathers' special team!!!
