Saleh said it was a miscommunication. According to him, play was supposed to be end-around to Braxton Berrios (which is still a questionable call tbh). If what you're saying is true, I guess Saleh didn't want to fully throw the kid under the bus.

Shouldn't have even come down to this. Kicking the FG was the play. Jets got too cute and it cost them.
