He's been playing a lot of eye games all season long

Sure, it hurt

But I felt that it was good part on their DB to set that up so well.
It looked like a piece of cake

I was more steamed about the drops by Sony Michel on simple passes, tbh.

I will say it loud, though.
I hate when he locks up on one side of the field
Think all QBs do this, but he's almost like a clock about his risk / reward scenarios and having them go sour.

He locked hard on the narrow side of the field with 3 WR set.
Never swept his eyes across the formation to check that his protections were holding, or whether the wide side checks were open
He ends up getting plowed, and losing the rock

Question: Does anyone feel that was on the interior line there?
I don't
Thought that the internal clock should have gone off and Stafford ought to have known to bail out of his primary.

He's doing a lot of it, the holding safeties and misleading the ILBs by looking them off. So maybe some of it is affecting his ability to see things idk. But I do think he's also working hard every week to raise the bar and get the stuff McVay is stuffing down his throat perfect. That year one affect is real especially in McVay's offense.

So he has to play better but I feel like maybe at any time they really need something they can reduce that stuff a bit which will mean some of his reads are a ton easier.
