I don't know why you would talk about recency bias. I was as frustrated as everyone else for 3 Qs.

And I am NOT saying that M S does not have issues. He clearly does.

I think that the most important one is his inaccuracy, a problem that has been persisting for quite a while. Remember that he was bailed out of several poor throws by incredible catches, notably by Higbee, Jefferson and OBJ. He doesn't get the clutch W without OBJ's incredible snag.

He is struggling with inaccuracy, Some call it mental, but he doesn't have mental challenges in the 4th. Of course, there athletes that lack prime focus early in a game. Maybe there is something there?

But to me, he looks compromised physically. He's had hand injuries, right? When he's at his best, he slings the ball deftly and precisely. He is struggling with that right now. My guess is that his hands aren't right.

And I think McV knows it. He has turned to Sony so decisively. I think he knows M S is not 100%. But with a good running game, M S is enough to get a lot done. It's what McV did in that memorable playoff game against DAL.

I think M S need to make peace with less accuracy than he is used to and make sounder decisions because of it. That's my read.
