My son invites me over to watch the Rams. I've gone over 2 or 3 times this year and every time they LOST.
So, when he asked me again to watch the Ravens game I was hesitant. Against my better judgment I went anyway.
Mid way through the 3rd quarter I couldn't stand it any longer. I said I gotta' go. It's happening again. I drove home.
I get home and after a little while find out the Rams won!
I called him. I confessed that the reason I had been reluctant to come over in the first place is that I had decided that he was just plain bad luck.
Turns out it was ME that's the bad luck.
No more watching Rams games until they're over and I see the replay on Gamepass.
