I'm 99.9% sure this was FOX.

They have the rights to the Cards-Cowboys game at 4:25 and probably want to show that game in as many markets as possible. America's team and all.

Moving the Rams game opens the LA market for Cards-Cowboys in addition to big population centers on the East coast (while LA still gets the Rams game ... only at 10:00 instead of 1:25 ...)
