In case no one's noticed, clearly Reich doesn't have much faith in Wentz lately. And if you've watched Wentz play lately, then you'd agree with him.
Wentz doesn't see the field. He throws inexplicable balls at inopportune moments. He can still do some of the wow things; but they come with way too many oh-no plays.
Nevertheless with the interior of the Colt's oline on the shelf, Wentz is going to have to be relied upon more. If I was Reich, I'd simply run Wentz more on designed run plays and still limit his passing. This is a very big game for the Colts and I don't think Reich can afford to essentially make Wentz a pure hander-offer.
Of course I suspect Reich will try in order to see how the back-ups on the interior Oline do against the Cards D.
