1. Disappointing season so far for Edwards, though I don't consider him to be a bad OG by any stretch. Him being the least of them shows how good this line is playing even if they have had some poor outings.
2. This line has guys who are good in the run game across the board, and in particular who are favored by a power approach. Yet another reason why they tend to play far better when they can fire off and maul. McVay not calling runs hurts them, this group is boosted when allowed to show in that phase.
3. It is common for depth types to start showing cracks after initial outings, as defenses begin to gameplan vs their weaknesses. So it will be interesting to see how Shelton does in this game and the next if he gets the call.
