That's the same impression that I have but I'm not sure it's accurate. It seems like Michel is still young in age and mileage. Much more than Anderson was when we got him.
Michel has 698 touches in 51 career games.
Anderson had 796 touches in 58 games when he got to the Rams. More than Michel at the same age, but not drastically so or the difference between Anderson being high mileage and Michel still being young.
Michel is smart and a good role player so hopefully that means he sticks around. I'd much rather have him backing up Akers when he gets his second chance as the starter. I'm just skeptical of RB's sticking around in general with McVay.
