Here's the NFL rules for vaccinated players (from this site: [
www.sportingnews.com] )
1. Vaccinated individuals who test positive and are asymptomatic will be isolated and contact tracing will promptly occur.
2. The positive individual will be permitted to return to duty after two negative tests at least 24-hours apart.
3. After that, they will be tested every week or as directed by the medical staffs.
4. Vaccinated individuals will not be subject to quarantine as a result of close contact with an infected person.
I think all 5 guys currently on the Rams' covid list are vaccinated since all the reports I've read said they can return after two negative tests at least 24-hours apart. That's saying they're vaccinated without saying so - if they weren't vax'd they'd have to isolate for 10 days - like what Aaron Rodgers had to do.
So with that understanding they all must have tested positive since vax'd players wouldn't go on the covid list just from being exposed to an infected person (Rule 4 above)
But that's not what rule 4 says. It says they won't be quarantined. They could still be isolated and put on a list according to rule 1.
