At the end of the day, you're just trying to twist the argument, apparently in effort to avoid the question at hand. You don't want to recognize the official stat used by the NFL to rank team defenses, that's fine. I specifically said to forget all the numbers and asked you a straightforward question. One that you continue to ignore or avoid.
And not sure you can say I twist things when you (intentionally?) used the wrong ranking to make your point.
You brought up context, so to point Rams points per game in context, there is a stat that takes away points
the offense simply game away for all teams, not just the Rams and that is the Rams are 5th in NFL
you said it was cherry-picked without doing any independent research
Why is it you just get to say things and never back them up with accurate information?
I have to correct you over and over again.
And the answer to the question is yes, this defense is fine, it's not great like last year
it is what it is. About 10th in the NFL in some things, higher in others. Lower in some others.
My point to you is your "sky is falling" attitude towards Morris that this defense is
a failure is indefensible. Just really silly stuff.
You don't agree, fine, but you are never going to convince a reasonable. rational
person than though 12 games a defense that is 11th in yards, 5th in points allowed by DEFENSE
is great versus the run, ins top 10 in sacking and interception is a FAILURE
Big difference is being fine, okay, than failure.
A failure is the Jets defense, or others like that.
See the difference?
