We need a QB playing well to win this one. Can't afford to have a down week as good as this Cards team is. He's gonna have to anticipate the blitzes way better than he did the first matchup (and I presume he will) and be more patient with less hero ball.
So this one will be telling. This is the type of game who will tell you who you are. Yeah, I hope he has a big game on Monday night. Win or lose he has to play well and give us a chance to win it.
Agreed merlin! Also, I will add we NEED Stafford to play well in EVERY game since we cannot rely on our D to win anything for us.
As Stafford goes...the Rams go. Stafford is the key. I think McVay fell in love with what "could be" with Stafford and is finding out, it's not that simple.
When it comes to winning, Stafford really has not proven he can be a consistent winner. Also, once you been a loser for that long, it's hard to shake that feeling. You almost become "numb" to it and accept it more than a long time winner would.
Say what you want about Goff but he's already won more big games than Stafford has his whole career. IMO, Stafford has to prove himself before I can get excited about him being here.
So far, he's only proven that he can beat "bad" teams...just like when he was in Detroit. Coincidence? I hope not.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
