I applaud the Ram's front office for having the courage to go all in, I am looking at this as a two year window, if we don't win a Super bowl or at least compete for one this gamble dd not work. With the amount of draft choices we have given up, I think we should be the team everyone fears, not the team looking to squeak by. I was extremely glad they made the Stafford trade, but I would wait two years to extend him unless we are serious contenders.
We have missed big time in the draft, Creed Humphrey will haunt us until he retires. Allen has worked himself into a good to serviceable player but he is not Creed and he is a free agent at the end of the year. Tutu is a bust, I have said this numerous times there is a difference between being fast and taking the top off a defense, Tutu is fast.
What happen to all our DB depth, we let two starters walk over to Cleveland and we thought Williams and Rapp would fill in nicely, I don't believe in coincidences, so our D and special teams players are all having a bad year at the same time.
Sony exemplified a power running attack, true it was against the Jax defense, but has fan/posters who attended the game reported it did not matter who was on the line the Rams rolled. Why don't we stick with this type of power running offense?
Again front office you get an A for effort making moves, you get a C- for drafting. Coaching McVay you need to pound the rock, even if you go two to three, 3 and outs your lineman need to establish control of the LOS. I am giving this team two years, I would not extend anyone, if it doesn't work blow it up and start new, I would not fire McVay!
