Not sure what you mean to show here. They have 5 guys guarding the first down line. Smart choice. What did they do from there? Did they backpedal? Did they leave a cushion? Did they go man and challenge the receiver? Did they step up? 99% of the time every defense will give a cushion so they can read the route, what's important is where the DB's are when the ball is in the air. Our continued complaint is our DB's would backpedal and not challenge the receiver until they are at, or beyond, the first down.
