That's why statistics can lie. Those cumulative numbers don't mean anything because the Rams can't stop anyone on 3rd down. The yards per play may seem reasonable but if the opposition is running twice as many plays, it's totally out of context.
because when the offense is in a slump and cannot make first down they are cutting the defense's throat by putting the defense on the field after
too many 3 and outs, of 5 and outs.
that is the major issue
the losing streak is on the OFFENSE more than anyone, then the STs, last of the three is the defense
