Just because the Rams signed D-Jax, doesn't mean that it cost them JJ3. And the Stafford trade only added about 7 mil to the Rams cap. Was that enough to re-sign JJ3? Absolutely. But with a cap hit in Cleveland of only 3.65 million, I'm pretty sure the Rams could have found a way to keep JJ3 if they wanted to.
My problem is how they go about roster building. They just do not care about LBers or Safeties. Period.
And their 2 weakest links this year on D IMO, is a ILB and a S.
And as far as Troy Hill, his cap was sub 2 million. Snead could have found that in his couch cushions. They blew it with the roster, but that isn't because of the offense. And their biggest FA signing, was Floyd. I think he plays defense.
