While there are issues on both sides (all three, really, including ST) I do agree that overall the offense has been the bigger issue the past 3 games- and that previous to that the Rams' defense was good (not great) overall.
I also agree with the PFJ article at the end talking about a gap between John Johnson in 2020 and Fuller in 2021. And I like Fuller. But he's still growing into that really important role. Honestly, I think the guys they miss the most are Hill and Fox. Hill was such a quality 3rd CB and David Long wasn't up to the task of stepping in. Deayon has done OK overall and I like Rochell's longer term potential but he is a rookie from a small school. Hard to expect that much in year one.
I wish Kenny Young was still there and I have hope that Hollins can- with Jones- return (next week?) and help stabilize the ILB role which is clearly being picked on. Shore that up somewhat and it might give edge guys like Floyd, Miller, Obo, etc. the time needed to get home.
