MIne as well... but I really scratched my head when early they ran Henderson who gained 5.5 yds on a 1st down and then on 2nd down went empty backfield. Was that their opening drive? I think so but perhaps their 2nd. That seemed very odd to me. Reading McVay's comments on why there are fewer play actions may be the excuse, (if you want to call it that), but that would seem to me that McVay doesn't just feel he's more limited due to recent injuries but instead on empty.. and I don't think that's true. I'm not a fan of massively scaling back because a #1 is missing.
Ah well... their backs are to the wall now so this next game should tell the tale as far as what McVay feels they are capable of. - JamesJM
