The first half of the Rams’ schedule wasn’t terribly difficult. They benefited from facing the likes of the Bears, Giants, Lions and Texans, as well as the Seahawks and 49ers. Obviously, the game against San Francisco wasn’t as easy as first expected, but it was still against a team that was 3-5 at the time.

As favorable as the first 10 games were, the Rams will absolutely be tested in the final seven weeks. The only truly easy matchup comes in Week 13 against the Jaguars, with the other six games coming against teams the Rams likely won’t be favored by more than three points against, if they’re favored at all.

According to Tankathon, the Rams have the hardest remaining schedule in the NFC. Their remaining opponents have a combined win percentage of .538, led by the Packers, Cardinals and Ravens, who are 22-7 on the year. It’s the seventh-toughest remaining schedule in the NFL, with the six toughest all belonging to AFC teams.

What doesn’t help the Rams is that the Cardinals, Packers and Buccaneers all have some of the easiest schedules in the last eight weeks, with each of their opponents’ combined records being below .500.

It won’t be long before we find out if the Rams can truly compete with the top teams in the NFL because two of their first three games are against the Packers and Cardinals.
