Maybe the Rams are headed in a
downward spiral that they will be unable to will their way out of.
Their 3 losses have been by double digits and their current 2 game losing streak sure looks like a team possibly ready to crap the bed.
They may not be able to rebound over their last 7 games of the 2021 season.
Prior to the regular season, many of the NFL pundits kept pressing that the Rams have no proven depth if they were to lose any of their core pieces.
In no specific order...1. Cam Akers... a big loss
2. Justin Hollins... a big loss
3. Sebastian Joseph Day... a big loss
4. Robert Woods... a big loss
5. Johnny Mundt... feels like a big loss
6. Trading LB Kenny Young in favor of a rookie... to be determined but the rookie ILB hasn't' done much since his opening start.
7. Losing last years D-Coordinator and replacing him with Raheem Morris?
Morris is currently not a fan favorite by many of the LA fans.
Morris still has 7 games left to right the ship, but former Rams LB coach/assistant head coach to Sean McVay (Joe Barry) who is now the D-Coordinator for the Packers is riding high on his teams shutout over the Seahawks.
Barry has the Packers defense surging and nobody in the NFL media circles are talking about him.
The Packers Defense is currently rated #3. The Rams defense is currently rated #11. Ironically Morris and Barry meet head to head in Green Bay (Lambeau Field) on Sunday November 28th.
I don't have a number 8 to list but the Rams are clearly under the microscope as a NFL team in disarray.
They're heading to Green Bay after after their bye week with a disappointing 2 game losing streak.
None of us Rams fans need to be reminded that the 2020 Rams postseason was quickly ended by Packers. There will be plenty of story lines leading up to this game. There will be no excuses that the Rams won't have Cooper Kupp and Arron Donald on November 28th.
