Exactly, that's piss poor defense. Time of possession killed the Rams. I'll concede it wasn't just the defense, the offense was bad also. But to allow multiple nearly 10 minute drives in the first half? The Niners drove over 90 yards on there first 2 possessions only threw 8 passes (Garapalo was 8-8 with a TD) and scored TD's . That's BAD defense no matter how you want to spin it.
