For me that was just a premature punt. The defense getting steamrolled was worse.
I still like Stafford but he is definitely in a slump aided by defenses applying pressure, aided by WR's dropping easy catches, aided by abandoning the run game as soon as possible, aided by losing Robert Woods who played a key role in the offense. The week off can't happen soon enough.
I hate that the niners just out play the Rams every game. Their energy level and determination... they just know going in that they are going to dominate the Rams. Time to bring back niners week? F yeah, I think so.
