Jim, in your opinion, can he be the deep threat that SJax was supposed to be? If not, we already have 3 really good route runners (not to mention blockers), and possibly a 4th in Skrowneck.

and a talented guy like OBJ can do anything---if he wants to he's not as fast, even now, IMO, as D-Jax, but that role will only get a target or two a game so he will get one catch every 2 games on that route....so he will run more than that, he is an intermediate receiver with great moves than can shake a defender...that is his game and that is how he gets deep, IMO with a double move, not with great speed... and he gets catches others don't by extending the target aread with umping and extending and reach with one hand---so he's a talent---
but he has to know the route concepts and all that and he never was in synch with Browns, after 3 years it never worked, timing wise...
we will see here... it CAN work of course but I am a wait-and-see person...players can "recharge" but there is no way to predict it
we though D-Jax would recharge. He didnt. OBJ could.
