How does DeCamillis’ coverage units look? Better be prepared for more trick plays by the Texans, btw. Let’s face it, DeCamillis has embarrassed himself, especially lately. IMO, he has 10 games to pull the fat out of the fire and save his job.
The other thing is I’m gonna be watching Morris’ D like a hawk. Is he getting away from that disgusting soft zone crap? Can they improve on their run D? Will tackling improve? Will he get back to more aggressive CB play? Can he ‘fix’ our Safety situation?
How Morris evolves as a DC with this talented roster will determine whether we have an early playoff exit or advance to the SB (assuming that DeCamillis also gets his act together). It’s really that important of an issue.
McVay’s stellar track record of good hires will be tested in these next 10 games by Morris and DeCamillis.
