Look, the most important facet I saw was that DeSean added stressors for a defense.
However, when it comes to being a complete player?? Well, there's the part where we see Van Jefferson, Bobby Trees, and Kupp out there making key blocks, and freeing their comrades up to make yards after the catch, or give their QB an extra count to deliver the ball.
DeSean just doesn't have the girth to do that. So, on a down in and out basis? He's rotational. AND he hates it. And it's a ongoing back room issue.
Let's look at the last game in particular. The deep balls went to Van Jefferson, and they didn't connect.
Pretty sure that really lit up DJax. Gave him some extra juice to declare that he's being ignored.
I'd like to keep the guy, but we can't afford the corrosive aspect of what's going on along the sidelines, in practice, and especially the noise in the hallway.
