I can't see the idea of a team not wanting to win....that puts the fan base in a very, very bad spot, not to mention the attitude and work ethic of the team itself. That destroys ALL team chemistry...Once a losing mentality begins it's a @#$%& to get out from under. Just look at the RAMS to see that.....Some teams may look forward as a better chance of winning more games, hence the want to trade option comes up for draft picks, or $ savings going forward, but the idea of not trying to win now, I can't see that.
I see no reason not to play Cooks if he is their most viable weapon....If I were a texan fan it would piss me off going to a game and seeing my guys on the bench so they can go somewhere else on Monday.....
