I became a fan in 1976. From that time through 1990, the Rams were almost ALWAYS in the running for the Super Bowl. Anyone recall the TWOOOOOOOOOO year drought of 1981 and 82? How brutal we THOUGHT that was??? 1989 ends with us one game (Arguably one PLAY ....Lott deflecting pass to Flipper.) from the Super Bowl. Every expert...all of US had us penciled in for the Playoffs in 1990. S.I. had us in the SB vs Kansas City. BUUUUT THEN......EIGHT years of CRAP! Followed by a few years of GSOT..........followed by a DECADE PLUS of CRAP......and now the McVay era. Windows can be very brief and volitile in today's NFL. The current team is SOOOOOO close to greatness. Just how pissed would Ram Nation be if a D with AD and Ramsey tanks?? The D and STs are a big white elephant....Hence the pissed fans on game day. Time is a wastin.
