He is very inconsistent. Made some splash plays but missed a lot too. Gets removed from the play the moment someone gets near him. He's another chase type LB who never really fit this defense.
Jones is a guy they went after in the draft and they spent a round 3 pick on him. Scheme only allows for one guy to be on the field 3x downs from that room. So I get them wanting to start him.
Maybe they figured "ok since we're gonna sit Young why not move him for cap relief and then go after XXXX before the deadline."
wasn't too long ago week 4? where he was the rising star and a humble brag piece in the Peters trade with the Ravens....few weeks later he's traded for basically nothing?
He might have had his flaws, but unfortunately he was our best ILB.... Hoping Snead already has his replacement lined up in another splash move to get us over the top again
