C'mon, I don't need a 7 game comparison.....you can get a pretty good feel from all last year to this year to see what I'm talking about.

Actually I don't need the numbers, my eyes see the numbers. IMO the main issue with this D is they allow teams to have drives through out a game, yes they make 2 or 3 3 and outs in a game, but anyone can see an issue when teams have 3rd and very longs and get the 1st down....almost happened yesterday after a start of 1st and 20.....came to a 3rd and 17 and they came very close to getting it....

You find numbers to support your premise very well but sometimes stats can be used to skew things a certain way. Giving up 3rd downs for 1st downs allows the other side to keep our O off the field, there is no question about that. I am glad they are (so far) keeping those drives to at best FG's, but over the season to come we have some very potent TD scoring teams...giving up those 3rd downs will bite any team over time...over a season.

Oh, and if you can't find it, you had to leave it out....LOL........
