It is indeed $25, credit card only. You park in a parking garage and there was practically nobody there for either game.
I checked the walking distance to SoFi with the Under Armour 'Map My Walk' app and it said it was .96 miles to the stadium. Sadly, the tailgate zone is on the other side of the stadium from there so you'd have another 1/2 mile walk (around the right side) from your first contact with SoFi to the Pink Zone.
But I would do that 10 out of 10 times: the tailgate zone is a rockin' block party with a few thousand people!! The Pink Zone opens at 8:00 for a 1:00 game: I got there at 10:00, wandered around for a couple hours, and headed to the game around noon and thought I nailed it. Your mileage may vary ...
When you leave at the end of the game you will walk by a *lot* of cars trying to make their way out of SoFi, and then when you exit Freeman Medical you head away from the stadium and, based on my experience, avoid the vast majority of traffic issues.
