Look. I get it why all the Rams coaches and players are heaping praise on Goff; no bulletin board material.
But the difference between the two is staggering.
Stafford can make Lemonade out of lemons. Goff can't.
When everything is in system and perfect, Goff does well. When it's not he breaks down equally to the break down of the system.
Stafford can improvise and make something good happen.
Stafford has a fast compact throwing motion.
Goff has a slow arcing throwing motion.
Stafford is very clever in the pocket. Goff isn't.
Stafford can read the entire field, manipulate D players with his eyes and shoulders. Goff doesn't seem to be able to do much of that.
