Rampage2K-I try to stay out of all the Goff post and really just think there is no need to keep posting it, its time to move on ...with all the dragging of Goff lately on here I thought I'd post this....I really don't get the glee some seem to get with Goff being trashed
as a fan who suffered through over decade of QB's who couldn't win 8 games let alone 5 games for many seasons,
I will always appreciate and respect what Goff did here in helping turn this losing franchise into a winning one.I'm happy as hell we have Stafford right now, but
wish Goff nothing but the best and hopefully he too will get out of Detroit soon and get another chance with a better team.
I'm aboard with your feelings about Goff's career as a Ram.
This is not a new NFL QB experience and it's been seen several times before in the NFL.
There are similar past situations about QB's getting traded or moving on to other teams.
QB's facing their old teams are often loaded with drama of why they were traded, cut or mistreated.
Plenty of examples of former QB's under center for their new team face their old teams for the first time.
It's big time fun for the media to delve into. It adds emotion and hype and promotes the game for fans to have another reason to be more interested.
The Goff/McVay/Stafford version just happens to be the next on the menu.
It won't be the last time the NFL.
Just beat the Lions.
