The Rams have the ball around midfield early in the 2nd quarter in a scoreless game and have a 3rd and 5. The Rams get called for a delay of game...not sure why Sean didn't call a timeout there, but THEN on the ensuing 3rd and 10, they immediately run a delay to Henderson, which was probably the first run that the offense had attempted in the previous 9-10 offensive plays. It almost seemed like the Rams were playing for a punt. Can anyone make sense of this sequence?
one of many puzzling decisions tonight....I was pissed at the way he called that game in multiple spots, but the win helps me forget some of it
