And wisely, the Rams didn't pursue him. If he was just a 6th, that would be one thing. But the Rams can't absorb even what he's owed the rest of this year, much less (over)pay him starting next year.

If there was no salary cap or just a luxury tax, Rams could act like the Dodgers and really load the team up. But we already got our high priced defensive back. Ours is younger, healthier and better.
