You could have one of us pick up the playbook and make the calls without changing the playbook too. Does that mean it's going to work? You realize you don't just call the defense then sit there on the sidelines looking like a genius DC. You gotta shape the packages and put the right players in them and use them in the right situations. There is just way more to it than what the calls are. It's timing and instinct and being a step ahead of the guy on the other side of the chess board. What just happened is Morris got his rear end kicked in disastrous fashion.
This group is loose and full of ego and lack discipline. And they have another offense coming up that will make them look just as stupid if they don't fix a lot of things. That includes Morris doing better and probably a couple starters (Long and Rapp) losing their jobs.
