he was just "off"...the plays were there. He was hitting those plays before that game...The guys were open for the most part, he was just off....the guy can't play at a 130+ rating for every game in a season...he still finished with something close to a 90 rating mark....that along with the decent run game by Henderson should be enough to make that game much closer, if not maybe pulling it out....the D is the issue....it's forcing him to play Superman, Hulk, and Spiderman rolled into one....
The hawks copy the cards D....he won't be missing those passes 2 weeks in row.....the plays were there...it wasn't the scheme the scheme was beat....the passes were off.
Agreed roman. I don't think it was the "scheme" either that bothered Stafford. IMO, it was more Stafford having one of those 'Stafford" type games that he is capable of having. He will have some WTF games just like Goff did.
Stafford has been inconsistent throughout his whole career and I don't see that changing in L.A.. As good as Stafford is...and he is very good at times but there is a reason he has not won a playoff game and only got there a few times. He is not the kind of QB that can carry a team on his own. If he was, he would have won more in spite of the lack of talent and scheme in Detroit. IMO, part of the Detroit problem was also on Stafford and we are seeing some of that now.
Don't get me wrong, I think he will play better in L.A....he's just not the savior that some have proclaimed him to be.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
