Great point, injuries happen of course, but the number of IR players the last few years from SF seem excessive. Trauma injuries are unavoidable but the overuse injuries in some cases may have been managed better. I have always wondered if the way the 9ers practice and treat preseason games have any impact on the the high number of injuries this team seemingly has each year? If players ever start to publicly question the way the team handles contact in practices or manages injured players then I would think this coaching staff may have some major issues moving fwd.

The one negative I’ve heard about Shanny is that his act wears thin with players after a while. He’s not a players coach by any stretch, and they certainly get more then their fair share of injuries.
