I think, as was discussed on the podcast this week, the Rams want to limit Henderson to about 15-16 carries/game. But in this game since the running game didn't do much until late he didn't reach those touches until the end. In games where the offense runs the ball 25+ times that's where we'll see Michel take on a role spelling Henderson. Maybe so this Sunday.
Plus let's remember Michel has been a Ram for just over 3 weeks. While a RB is easier to insert into an offense than some other positions there is still a pretty big learning curve there.
